'Dangal Girl' shared the story of casting couch

January28,Kathmandu. Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh made her mark with Aamir Khan's film Dangal. Now in a recent interview, she recalled the early days of her career. She told that after entering the film industry, she had to face many difficulties, especially the casting couch. Apart from this, she also told that some casting directors used to ask for a part of their earnings from new actors.

Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Fatima Sana Shaikh said, 'I got a call for a South Indian film. The casting agent made me feel uncomfortable. He asked me, will you be ready to do everything? I replied that I will work hard and do whatever is necessary for the role. But he kept asking the same question again and again. However, I deliberately did not answer him, so that I could see how far he could go.'

According to Fatima, initially she felt that if she worked in the South film industry, the way would open for her in Bollywood. With this hope, she went to audition for a film. Everyone was in a room and the producer was telling in gestures that you have to meet some people. He did not say anything directly, but his meaning was clear. However, the actress also said that not everyone is like this.

Apart from this, Fatima told that every studio had a different process for giving auditions. The casting directors who came to these studios also claimed rights on the money received by the actors from ads and commercials. Many times the directors used to take a share of the earnings in advance.
