Nutritionist and founder of 'OneDietToday' Dr. Anu Agarwal says that warm drinks are necessary in the morning during winters. The temperature is very low in the morning. Therefore, drinking warm drinks warms the body. These drinks are energetic and the morning starts well and happily. Natural ingredients boost our metabolism and immunity.

Warm drinks are healthy for the body

The special thing about these warm drinks which are extremely beneficial for the body is that no processed ingredients are used to make them. Most of the ingredients like cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cumin and turmeric can be found in the kitchen itself.

Cinnamon and Honey Tea

  • You can start your day with a drink made from a simple mixture of cinnamon and honey. Both these things are easily available in the home and market.
  • Cinnamon can help control blood sugar levels. Blood sugar levels increase rapidly in winters. Therefore, it is a good option for morning warm drinks. It is rich in antioxidants and reduces the risk of cancer by eliminating free radicals.

Lemon water with honey
